A NOVEL APPROACH FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION FROM BIOMASS USING DELONIX REGIA

The rising costs of conventional fuels, as well the negative impacts burning on environment, have resulted in a shift demand for wood fuel. As result, research into possibility some woody biomass to be used fossil fuel substitute has become important. Delonix regia is widely grown tree species. These species produce large quantities lignocellulosic from parts. This study examined thermochemical characteristics and pyrolytic conversion behavior these parts assess volarization yield bioenergy. Proximate analysis revealed low moisture content (6.5%), ash (1.95%), fixed carbon (12.95%) high volatile matter (78.6%) respectively. attained calorific value 3611Kcal/Kg.
